"Not a ton to choose from"
The selection felt kinda limited. I was looking for some central vac parts and just couldn’t find what I needed. A lot of it seemed like the same few options repeated over and over, so yeah, not much to pick from tbh.

"Am I missing something with the slow warranty replies?"
They did end up fixing the issue, so I’ll give them credit for that. But am I missing something, or should warranty emails not take that long to get a response? It worked out in the end, just slower than I expected

"Okay overall, but I’m not totally sold"
I ordered a few central vac parts from centralvacuumdirect.com, and for the most part they did what they were supposed to do. One of the pieces felt a little weaker than I expected, though — not awful, just not as sturdy as the older parts I was replacing. Shipping was fine, nothing special. Not saying it’s a scam, but I’d probably check local options first next time before ordering again.

"Hose didn’t hold up"
I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the hose cracked after just a few weeks of normal use. For something that’s supposed to be used regularly, it should at least be sturdy enough to last longer than that.

"Install was way harder than I expected"
I ordered from centralvacuumdirect.com thinking the install would be straightforward, but it ended up being a lot more of a headache than I planned for.

The instructions were thin, and I kept having to stop and figure out where things were supposed to go. What made it more annoying was getting inconsistent answers when I tried to clarify stuff, so I never felt totally sure I was doing it right.

Maybe someone who’s really handy would have no problem with it, but for me it was frustrating and took way longer than it should have. i wouldn’t put myself through this again

"Should’ve trusted my gut"
I ordered this because it was listed as compatible with my central vac system, but right away I had a feeling it wasn’t going to work. Sure enough, the hose end was completely wrong and the adapter didn’t help at all. I ended up having to return it and track down the right part somewhere else. Frustrating i should’ve trusted my instinct from the start.

"Mostly right, but not perfect"
My order was mostly correct, but they missed one small part. It’s a little frustrating because the whole thing kind of works when it wants to now. Not a huge issue, but still annoying.

I bought this from centralvacuumdirect.com, it’s way louder than I was expecting. Maybe I’m being picky, but it’s hard to use when other people are home without feeling like I’m disturbing everyone. I was really hoping it would be more manageable, so I’m disappointed

"Honestly, super easy to use"
I was relieved by how easy the site was to use. I found what I needed without feeling like I was wandering through a maze for a million years, and the parts were listed clearly enough that I wasn’t second-guessing myself the whole time. The search worked just fine, which felt like a small miracle compared to some sites I’ve used. A few pages looked a little outdated, but it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t slow me down. Checkout was simple too, thank goodness. I didn’t have to click around endlessly or lose my mind over it

"Attachments are fine, but the hose feels cheap"
It works okay overall, and the attachments do what they’re supposed to, well, mostly. The hose feels kind of cheap, though, and the brush started wearing out faster than I expected

"Slow shipping and too many policy excuses"
I ordered from Central Vacuum Direct because the price was decent, but the shipping took way longer than I expected. What made it more annoying was the tracking barely updated, so I was just left guessing where my order was.
When I reached out, it felt like I mostly got the usual “our policy says” type of response instead of any real help, which was frustrating. The part did eventually show up and was packed fine, but I needed it sooner, so I’m not sure I’d order again if timing was important.

"The return process felt way more frustrating than it should’ve"
I expected the exchange to be straightforward, but it ended up dragging on for what felt like forever. "Couldn’t get the part or a real person to help"
I was trying to find a replacement part for my older vacuum, but of course it was out of stock. What made it more frustrating was that there wasn’t any clear update on when it might be available again. I also couldn’t seem to reach an actual person, which really didn’t help. It felt like I was just stuck clicking around with no real answers

"Support finally gave me a straight answer"
I was trying to figure out which replacement hose would fit my older central vac system, this kind of stuff is usually a headache. Half the time you email a company and get some useless copy-paste reply, or they don’t answer the actual question, or they make you feel like you’re supposed to already know all the details. I emailed centralvacuumdirect.com expecting the same runaround, but the support guy actually knew what he was talking about.
He explained the connections in plain English and even told me what to double-check before ordering, which saved me from buying the wrong hose. That’s all I wanted in the first place, just a clear answer without going back and forth forever. I’m still annoyed that finding the right part for older systems has to be such a pain, but their help was solid. I’d use them again.

"Pretty disappointed with the whole experience"
I wasn’t happy with my order. It took way longer than I expected, and by the time it finally arrived, I was already frustrated. The whole buying process just felt more stressful and annoying than it should have, which kind of ruined the experience for me.

I just ordered a central vac part from here recently, the whole thing was easy. The price was better than a couple other sites I checked, and what I paid at checkout was exactly what I expected, no random fees showing up at the last second. The part arrived like it was supposed to, so based on this order, I’d definitely come back if I need more central vac stuff.

The box showed up badly crushed, and the packing inside felt flimsy. A few parts had clearly been knocked around during shipping, which made me nervous about whether anything was damaged or might fail later. I’d be hesitant to order this again unless the packaging is improved.

"I had a frustrating time trying to..."
I had a frustrating time trying to get help from customer service. Every time I reached out, it felt like I was stuck waiting in a queue forever, and even after that I still had to follow up more than once. My question felt like it was just sitting there with nobody looking at it. They did eventually give it some attention, but the slow replies made the whole situation way more annoying than it needed to be.
